At Heller, we continuously strive to produce our products as sustainably as possible. In recent years, we have therefore taken many measures to ensure our production is as resource-efficient as possible.
Recycled plastic
Since 2023, we have been producing all Heller model kits with recycled plastic. While maintaining the same quality, existing plastic is given a new lease of life in a great kit.
No bags or foils
Instead of packaging injection molded parts in plastic bags, we use tissue paper to transport all components cleanly, safely, and in an environmentally friendly manner. Our seal closure eliminates the need for shrink wrap. This also significantly increases the recyclability of our packaging.
Oldies but Goldies
We're proud of our extensive inventory of injection molds. That's why we lovingly rework, repair, and improve existing molds instead of throwing them away. This preserves great models while saving significant energy and materials. That's why we proudly display the year our molds were manufactured and the year of their last overhaul clearly on every package.
