Product description
The first jet fighter, designed by the Marcel Dassault aircraft company, was also the first French jet fighter to enter series production. The MD450 was conceived and designed by the engineers Deplant, Cabriere, and Rouault. The prototype made its maiden flight on February 23, 1949. The first production model took off on December 5, 1951. A total of 350 Ouragans were built, with the French Air Force retaining 175 aircraft and the remainder being delivered to Israel and India. The El Salvador Air Force purchased 18 Ouragans from Israel.
