Like its illustrious predecessor, the Xsara, the Citroën C4 WRC is equipped with all-wheel drive, a 2-liter turbocharged engine, and a transverse six-speed gearbox. What makes the C4 WRC special is its length of 4.20 meters, which exceeds the Xsara's, allowing its width to be increased from 1.77 to 1.80 meters, as required by regulations. This change theoretically gives it better cornering stability.
