Originally designed as a day fighter for air superiority, it evolved into a successful all-weather multi-role aircraft. Over 4,600 aircraft have been built since 1976. Although the USAF is no longer receiving any further aircraft, upgraded versions are being built for export customers.\r\nThe F-16 was manufactured as part of a consortium established between the United States and the four NATO countries: Belgium, Denmark, the Netherlands and Norway. Together with the United States, they initially produced 348 F-16s for their air forces. Final assembly of the airframes took place in Belgium and the Netherlands.\r\nThe components for the F-16 were manufactured in all five countries. Belgium also carried out the final assembly of the F100 engine, which was used in the European F-16s. This increases the supply and availability of spare parts in Europe and improves the operational readiness of the F-16. \r\n","brand":"Heller","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":56567079338363,"sku":"82306","price":29.99,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0902\/5631\/0651\/files\/b0FZM0RzWE9IL3FFZFdBdlpLcElSQT09.jpg?v=1793959002","url":"https:\/\/heller.fr\/en\/products\/f-16a-mlu-nato-alliance-1-72","provider":"Heller","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
