Renault 4 Fourgonette F4

The Renault 4 (abbreviated „R4“, called „Quatrelle“ in France) was a small car produced by Renault (Régie Nationale des Usines Renault) from the summer of 1961 until the end of 1992 It was the first series production compact car to have a one-piece, top-hinged tailgate. It is often thought that Renault‘s first front-wheel drive car was the Renault 4. Not true... It was the Estafette van launched in 1959 (also offered by HELLER in various versions). and the first Renault car with front-wheel drive. It was a huge success, selling over eight million units in 31 years of production. Shortly after the launch of the Renault 4L, a commercial version was developed under the motto „Give a lot and ask for little“. From 1965 to the end of 1992, the R4 was offered as the Renault 4 F4, thanks to its platform frame. The payload to kerb weight ratio was the same as that of the saloon, with 1.885 m³ of space in the widened and raised body. With a payload of 300 kg, the Renault 4 F4 quickly became a very popular van for tradesmen, large companies, public authorities or as a service van for Renault garages.

Recycling
Because it's important to us!

At Heller, we are constantly working to produce our products as sustainable as possible. In recent years, we have therefore taken many measures to increase resource efficiency as much as possible.

Recycling
Recycled plastic

Since 2023, we have been producing all Heller model kits with recycled plastic. This gives existing plastic a new life in a great kit while maintaining the same quality.

Recycling
No bags and film

Instead of packing our sprues in plastic bags, we use tissue paper to transport all components in a clean, protected and environmentally friendly way. Thanks to our seal closure, we do not need shrink film. This also significantly increases the recyclability of our packaging.

Recycling
Oldies but Goldies

We are proud of our large archive of injection moulds. That is why we rework, repair and improve existing moulds instead of throwing them away. Great models are preserved and at the same time a lot of energy and material is saved. That's why we proudly display the year of manufacture of our moulds and the year of the last general overhaul clearly on every product box.
