Leclerc T5/T6

The „Leclerc“, main vehicle of the battlefields has been designed around three basic principles: mobility, firepower and protection, with added communication. Served by a crew of three men (commander, gunner, driver) and able to stand up to the most intensive assaults during heavy battle, as well as deal with the toughest of targets, it can take on all the missions usually allotted to armored units, whatever the surroundings (Nuclear, Bacteriological and Chemical protection) or the kind and form of engagement. It‘s very compact size certainly contributes towards its safety. It is protected by a very hard armor plating structure, by components which are added according to needs (evolutional protection) and by electronic countermeasures. The 1500 HP of its power unit ensures it great mobility on cross-country (an average of 40 to 50 km/h) and a maximum speed of 70 km/h. It has a range of 500 to 650 km thanks to its 1300 l fuel tanks and to its 400 l disposable supplementary fuel tanks.

Because it's important to us!

At Heller, we are constantly working to produce our products as sustainable as possible. In recent years, we have therefore taken many measures to increase resource efficiency as much as possible.

Recycled plastic

Since 2023, we have been producing all Heller model kits with recycled plastic. This gives existing plastic a new life in a great kit while maintaining the same quality.

No bags and film

Instead of packing our sprues in plastic bags, we use tissue paper to transport all components in a clean, protected and environmentally friendly way. Thanks to our seal closure, we do not need shrink film. This also significantly increases the recyclability of our packaging.

Oldies but Goldies

We are proud of our large archive of injection moulds. That is why we rework, repair and improve existing moulds instead of throwing them away. Great models are preserved and at the same time a lot of energy and material is saved. That's why we proudly display the year of manufacture of our moulds and the year of the last general overhaul clearly on every product box.
